1. Sell to the Right Person

Make sure that you sell your gold coins to the right person. In many cases, an actual coin buyer is the best option because he or she will be interested in what you have to sell and will know a little something about it. Otherwise, try selling your coins to a collector. Although it's possible to make money from selling to regular pawn shop or regular interested individual, the person who you deal with might not understand just how much your coins are worth.

2. Print Out Related Price Quotes

It should be easy to find information about your coins and how much they are worth if you look online. Once you find this information, print out a few different price quotes -- just make sure that you include photographs and other identifying information about the coin in question.
